Governance & Transparency

Ubuntu Digital Access is governed by an independent board and operates with transparency, accountability, and ethical oversight.

Board structure

  • Chairperson: Strategic oversight and governance leadership
  • Treasurer: Financial controls and reporting
  • Secretary: Records, compliance, and meeting minutes

Conflict of interest

All board members declare conflicts of interest annually. Any board member with a declared conflict recuses themselves from related discussions and decisions.

Financial controls

  • Separate bank account in the organisation’s name
  • Recommended dual authorisation for payments
  • Transparent financial record-keeping

Reporting

Ubuntu Digital Access prepares annual narrative and financial reports and submits required documentation to the Department of Social Development.
